Fast Facts:

Genets are long and lean with a tail usually at least as long as the body.
They appear catlike, except for their longer faces and have a dark spotted or marbling pattern over a cream to buff colored background.

Special Features

They are extremely flexible and can get into small spaces.
They have a mane on their backs that stands erect when they are frightened. They also excrete a musky odor when frightened.
