Special Features:
- The size of the male's horns determines his status.
. They can eat plants that are poisonous to other herbivores.
- The short, pointed ears have tufts of hair on the tips.
- Males have horns 12-75 inches long. Female horns are up to 12 inches.
- They are cud chewers
- It has a thick coat of wool and develops a warm undercoat during the winter months.
Social Structure & Behavior:
They live in flocks of 20-30. Males and females live separately coming together to mate. They do not migrate.
Reproduction:
Sexual maturity at 7 months. Gestation 5 months. Can have single birth or twins.
