Junior ZooKeepers (JZK)
Youth 11 to 14 years of age are invited to join Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure for a unique opportunity to follow in the footsteps of professional zookeepers. Participants will engage in actual zookeeper chores that they perform everyday to keep the animal residents healthy. They will work in the Reptile Building and Kid’s Country along with many other behind the scenes areas at Rolling Hills.
This year, the group activities have been retooled to bring new opportunities into a popular, long-standing program. Participants will now develop skills to manage keeper records, keeper staff, a dart team, food orders, and view behind the scenes areas this program has never visited.
Don’t hesitate to register for this once-in-a-lifetime experience that will not only add excitement to any kid’s summer but can help prepare them to volunteer at Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure.
