Motorcoach Group Rates!

Motorcoach groups receive a 10% discount off the regular admission rates. Rolling Hills offers complimentary tickets to one escort and one driver per motorcoach.


Group rates are as follows:

Making a Reservation
To make a reservation, complete and return a Group Reservation Form prior to your visit. Your group’s visit and group rates will not be confirmed until these items are received. Any groups arriving without following this reservation procedure will be charged regular admission rates.


Payment Procedure
The full balance of your group’s admission, tram and/or meal fees is due on the day of your visit. This payment is required in the form of one check, one credit card, or cash from the sponsoring group. Any guests not included in this payment will be charged regular admission rates. Museum admission is paid at the Museum ticket booth. Zoo admission and tram fees are paid at the Zoo ticket booth, and meal fees are paid at the Overlook Restaurant.


Cancellations
If you need to cancel for any reason, please call Rolling Hills as soon as possible! We are more than happy to reschedule your visit.


Tax Exempt Status
All Zoo and Museum fees are subject to 6.3% sales tax. Tax exempt organizations will be eligible to purchase admission, trams and restaurant food/beverage tax-free if the following conditions apply:

a.) The organization (not individuals) must be paying for the food from an official source (i.e. the group) must have a check or credit card in the name of the organization).

b.) The organization has provided the Zoo with a copy of the official tax exemption certificate and tax exempt number prior to their visit.


Hours of Operation
Peak Season (Memorial Day through Labor Day): Open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

Off Season (Labor Day through Memorial Day): Open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

Rolling Hills is closed: December 24, December 25 and January 1.


Touring the Zoo
Rolling Hills Zoo is 65 acres of beautifully landscaped naturalistic exhibits, and is home to more than 85 species of animals, many rare or endangered. Please allow 1.5 hours to walk the 1.5 mile loop, plus time to stop at the Overlook Restaurant, and shopping at the Safari Station gift shop. There are no guided walking tours, but private group tram tours are available by advance reservation. Individual tickets for the public tram are available seasonally (see Tram Tour Information).

Hands-on education programs are also available by reservation through the Education Department by calling (785-827-9488 ext. 117).
