Immerse yourself in Charley Harper’s nature-inspired whimsical artwork with interactive experiences for viewers of all ages. Harper called his style “minimal realism", capturing the essence of his subjects with the fewest possible visual elements. Using graphic shapes and bold colors, Harper distilled and simplified complex elements. All his amazing works can be viewed with your free admission on the evening of May 3rd during First Thursday Art Rush. First Thursday Art Rush is presented by the Cultural Roundtable; a consortium of museums, libraries, galleries, educational institutions, performance, and service organizations, collaborating to schedule and promote programs, exhibits, and activities of interest to Salina. |
