In an effort to further our mission, Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure has partnered with SITES (Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service) to present Green Revolution, a new "eco-zibit”, that focuses on several major themes: waste, energy, green pioneers, gardening and composting, green construction, and reducing our carbon footprint.
As you go through our multiple hands-on learning stations you’ll discover ways that you can minimize your own carbon footprint. You’ll learn how to generate power using your own “energy”; build a worm composting center and plant a community garden; recycle or repurpose used materials for everyday use; conserve natural resources and raise awareness in your community by incorporating sustainable building practices. |

Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure used many recycled, re-used, and repurposed materials to create this exhibit, and we hope it gives our visitors ideas about how to follow some of our examples and become ambassadors for a Green Planet!
Assistance with GREEN REVOLUTION was provided by Kohl’s Cares for Kids. |
