Conference

Association of Zoo & Aquarium Volunteer Administrators

Put on those sunglasses and join the AZAVA crab as it crawls to Tampa!

I am so excited to have you joining us for the 10th annual AZAVA conference at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa Florida. After some careful planning, the itinerary for the Conference is complete. We have a great schedule packed with exciting speakers and informative topics!

There will be plenty of fun and food! We have a packed house at this time and are glad to see some of you are bringing guests. I hope you have had success making your hotel reservations. Please bring with you Monday morning, information or goodies to share. There will be a "Brag" table and a "For Distribution" table space set up in the conference room.

All presentations will be held in the Taylor Great Room in the Aquarium. It's equipped with full A/V capability for PowerPoint, WiFi, DVD, etc. You can check it out Sunday night at the Social. Monday morning, you will be coming in the Business Entrance at the front of the Aquarium to access the Conference room.

Traditionally, everyone brings something for the Closing Banquet Gift Table. Names are drawn and everyone will get to choose a parting gift. Items usually include mugs, tee shirts, plush toys, notepads, etc. representing your facility. So pack those shorts and bring the suntan lotion!

Looking forward to seeing each of you soon!
