Seasonal Activities
at Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure
Tram Rides
Tram rides are available weekends only from April 1 until Memorial weekend, and again from Labor Day through Thanksgiving. Trams run daily from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend. The trams offer guests a narrated tour of the Zoo with six stops allowing guests the ability to ride to an area, get off and enjoy the exhibits, then catch another tram when it comes by. If you were to stay on the tram for the whole ride it would last approximately 50 min. Cost to ride the Zoo tram is $3.00 per person and is good for the entire day.
Giraffe Feeding Station
Have you ever had the opportunity to hand feed a giraffe? Visit the Zoo on summer weekends and you could have that opportunity. Scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Daily (except Wednesdays) from Memorial Day to Labor Day guests can feed the giraffes for just $1. It is truly an unforgettable experience.
Keeper Talks
Do you have questions about what the animals eat? Where they sleep at night? Or how they are taken care of? Then join the Rolling Hills keeper staff each Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer to find out the answers. Four times each day keepers will meet guests at various exhibits to discuss the animals in their care. Make sure to get a schedule at the ticket booth when entering the Zoo
